We collect your email address and basic profile information via Firebase Authentication to manage your account. When you use our fridge scanner, we process the images you upload.
2. How We Use Data
Your data is used to provide personalized recipe recommendations and to maintain your "Cookbook" of favorite recipes. We use Google GenAI (Gemini) to analyze images. These images are sent to Google for analysis but are not permanently stored by CookScope.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase for database and authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and Google AI for recipe generation and image vision. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
4. Data Security
We utilize industry-standard security measures provided by Google Cloud and Firebase to protect your data. We never see or store your payment card details; these are handled exclusively by Stripe.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. Please contact us if you need assistance with data removal.
