1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CookScope, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. AI-Generated Content
CookScope uses artificial intelligence (Gemini 2.5 Flash) to generate recipes and identify ingredients. While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. Users are responsible for verifying all cooking instructions, ingredient safety, and nutritional information. We are not liable for any cooking mishaps or health issues resulting from the use of AI-generated content.
3. User Accounts & Subscriptions
Subscriptions to CookScope Pro are handled via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are governed by Stripe's policies and our current billing cycle. Access to "Pro" features is provided on a best-effort basis.
4. Image Scanning
When you use our fridge scanner, images are processed by Google's Generative AI services. You represent that you have the right to upload and process these images. We do not use your private images for training purposes outside of standard cloud processing logs.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the service for any illegal purposes or to attempt to reverse engineer the AI models used within CookScope.
